1st day

Departure from Kyiv to the city of Ostrog.

Ostrog is one of the oldest cities of Ukraine, which is home to the State Historical and Cultural Reserve "Ostrog". It is a unique place with a concentration of notable architectural and historical sights, such as the Ostrog Castle and the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. This is a city with a rich history, which was the center of scientific and cultural life in the 16th century, thanks in particular to the first Slavic academy – Ostroh Academy.

Transfer to Klevan. The Tunnel of Love is a magical place where a dense green tunnel formed by intertwined tree branches creates a fairy-tale atmosphere.

Transfer to Lutsk.

2nd day

Duben Castle is one of the oldest fortifications in Ukraine, built in the 15th century. The castle played an important role in protecting the city from attacks, it was never taken by storm. You will see the ancient defensive walls and bastions, the residence of the Ostrozki princes and the Lubomyrski palace.

The tour will be continued with a secret outpost to protect the western borders of the Russian Empire at the end of the 19th century – Tarakaniv Fort. It impresses with its scale and complex system of underground passages, barracks and bastions, resembling a labyrinth.

Finally you will see Lubart Castle, also known as Lutsk Castle, is a landmark of medieval defensive architecture located in the center of Lutsk. Built in the 14th century by Prince Lubart, the castle has retained its grandeur and strength, captivating tourists with its mighty walls and towers. You will be able to climb the tower, which offers a great view of the city, as well as visit the bell museum and the book museum.

Return to Kyiv.
